Nuestros Técnicos en Diseño y Artes Gráficas proyectan y producen diseños, ilustraciones, bocetos e imágenes visuales con el fin de comunicar eficazmente ideas, conceptos o mensajes para publicaciones, comerciales, películas, avisos y afiches.

Conceptualizan y producen diseños para la fabricación de productos. Preparan diseños de planos o bocetos técnicos en apoyo de ingenieros, arquitectos y diseñadores industriales. Se desempeñan como: diseñador creativo, diseñador artesanal, diseñador gráfico, diseñador multimedia, diseñador de medios impresos, gerente de producto, supervisor de procesos, ilustrador, diseñador de envases y empaques, entre otros.

Son contratados por empresas de diseño y publicidad, en departamentos de publicidad, en la industria manufacturera, firmas de diseño o trabajar independiente.

¿Qué hace el técnico en Diseño y Artes Gráficas?

  • Consultar con los clientes para establecer la naturaleza y contenidos de diseños e ilustraciones para producción.
  • Determinar el medio más apropiado para producir el efecto visual y el método de reproducción.
  • Preparar bocetos, fotografías o ilustraciones para ser interpretados.
  • Estimar costos de material y tiempo de ejecución de diseños gráficos e ilustración.
  • Preparar especificaciones para el diseño.
  • Producir diseños finales o ilustraciones, o supervisar la producción de los diseños por otros dibujantes.
  • Consultar con clientes, ingenieros y especialistas de producción para establecer los requerimientos del producto.
  • Investigar costos, propiedades de los materiales de fabricación y métodos de producción.
  • Elaborar diseños, prototipos, bosquejos o modelos para aprobación
